Sharing your Instacart+ benefits or receiving Instacart+ benefits through sharing are subject to the following terms and the Instacart+ terms. Capitalized terms used in these terms, but not defined herein, shall have the respective meanings set out in the Instacart Business Account Terms and Conditions.
Shared Instacart+ Eligibility
In order to grant Shared Instacart+, the Owner Account must have an active Instacart+ membership held by their Business Account. Any Admin Account in the business may grant and revoke Shared Instacart+ access at any time. Business users are eligible to receive Shared Instacart+ benefits if they hold an Authorized Account that is a member of the same organization as the Owner Account.
The Shared Instacart+ feature is not a guaranteed benefit of an Instacart+ membership and Instacart reserves the right to limit the availability of the feature to select Instacart+ members and/or to limit the ability of certain Authorized Accounts to participate in Shared Instacart+. Instacart may limit the number of Authorized Accounts eligible for Shared Instacart+ benefits, and remove members from Shared Instacart+ if it reduces the total number of concurrent participants.
Shared Instacart+ Benefits
Recipients of Shared Instacart+ will receive waived delivery fees on eligible orders of $35 or more placed through their Business Account with each Retailer placed through the Services. Taxes, fees and/or tips may still apply. Recipients may receive certain additional Instacart+ benefits, if available, but such benefits are not guaranteed. For more information about additional Instacart+ benefits, click here. Instacart reserves the right to limit the Instacart+ benefits that are shared with Authorized Account users.
Recipients of Shared Instacart+ benefits are ineligible to share those benefits with any additional Instacart account holders.
Instacart+ benefits that are earned by placing orders on Instacart (for example, an offer to earn credit back via Instacart+ when placing an order) will not be shared and cannot be transferred or counted towards another Authorized Account’s progress towards obtaining any bonus or incentive. While you receive Shared Instacart+ benefits, you agree that Instacart may limit your ability to redeem or participate in offers to receive free or discounted Instacart+ memberships or trials on your Business Account even if no such restrictions are specified in the offer.
Termination of Shared Benefits; Disqualification
Any shared Instacart+ benefits will immediately terminate if the Instacart+ membership of the Owner Account expires or is terminated. Authorized Accounts will also immediately lose access to their Authorized Account and any Shared Instacart+ benefits if:
- the Owner Account deactivates their Instacart Business account or deletes the team or organization; or
- the Authorized Account is deactivated from the organization.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Instacart reserves the right to disqualify you from participating in the Shared Instacart+ feature if Instacart suspects or determines, in its sole discretion, you have engaged in any fraud, tampering, abuse, or violation of these terms (“Disqualification”). You will have no claim against Instacart and/or any affiliated company regarding any Disqualification or for any issue relating to your use of the Shared Instacart+ feature. To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither Instacart nor any affiliated company shall be liable for any losses arising out of any use of the Shared Instacart+ feature, the failure or inability of a customer to use the Shared Instacart+ feature, or any Disqualification relating to the Shared Instacart+ feature.
Changes to Shared Instacart+ Terms
All of the provisions of these terms are subject to change by Instacart at any time. Instacart reserves the right to modify or cancel the Shared Instacart+ feature at any time.
If notice of changes is required under applicable consumer protection laws, we will provide you with written notice of any changes to these terms. If you refuse this change, you may remove all users from Shared Instacart+ and terminate use of the benefit.
